Latin Lawyer – PGD Boutique is led by women

PGD – Perez, Giannella, D’Ávola Sociedade de Advogadas has opened as a boutique law firm, led by three women: Ane Elisa Perez, Elisa Martinez Gianella, and Luisa D’Avola.

The law firm is focused on strategic public and tax litigation, which includes ADRs, judicial and administrative proceedings, as well as consulting in public biddings and contracts, with attention to the personal nature of client service and the broad training and specialization of its body of lawyers.

In addition, the firm is committed to ESG criteria and it is in its scope of work to provide companies, institutions, and organizations with a performance engaged with principles in the areas of human rights, environment, and anti-corruption.

Ane Perez has extensive experience in public law, having acted in the last 15 years in several arbitrations, dispute boards and measurement. She has a background of almost 30 years in public litigation, which involves, besides ADR, liability lawsuits, economic claims, contractual management, administrative claims, Audit Courts, among others.

She holds a doctorate in Philosophy of Law, a master’s degree in Constitutional Law and a specialization in administrative law from FGV. She was a partner at Manesco, Ramires, Perez, Azevedo Marques – Sociedade de Advogados for 27 years.

Elisa Giannela has a master’s degree in Civil Procedural Law from USP and worked for 14 years as an associate at Manesco, Ramires, Perez, Azevedo Marques – Sociedade de Advogados, acting in judicial and administrative proceedings in public and private contracts.

Luisa D’Avola is a lawyer graduated from PUC-SP, with a post-graduate degree, a master’s degree and currently a doctoral candidate in Constitutional Law from the same University. She has worked as a tax lawyer in the State of São Paulo since 2011 and has experience in Electoral Law.

The firm also counts with the associates Igor Galiza, graduated in Law from Universidade Federal da Paraíba, expert in arbitration, infrastructure and judicial recovery, and Thaina de Paula Carvalho, graduated in Law from USP and “Licence en Droit” from Université de Lyon (Universitè Lumière Lyon II), expert in public litigation, administrative contract management, mediation and arbitration.
